In 48 – 72 hours from the day we receive your order, Server Room will have your server set up, released and ready for your projects. We have both Linux and Windows servers to match your needed platform.

Because we know how important it is to keep your site and dedicated server running, we offer 24/7/365 support. Located in a secure, climate controlled facility in New York City your dedicated server will be set up free of charge. There is never any upgrade or setup fee.

In addition, Server Room has secure IP Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) with every dedicated server, not often provided by other hosting companies. With IP KVM, there's no need to contact Server Room to reboot or manage the server. KVM allows site administrators and webmasters to gain BIOS-level access to their dedicated server, troubleshoot and provide maintenance from any location.

The servers are "dedicated", which means the entire hard disk is yours. Store as many video files, images or other files as your server can hold. If you need live, on-demand video streaming, which requires a Windows Server license, we provide Windows Web Server 2008 for $15/month, or Windows Server 2008 Standard for $20/month.

Do you need more bandwidth? Maybe you're happy with a basic dedicated server package, but you need more than just 300 GB. Not a problem. We measure bandwidth usage with 95th percentile, and additional bandwidth is available at $20 per Mb/s, with discounts for higher amounts or contracts.

As a courtesy, we send an automatic e-mail message, warning you when you've reached 80% of your contracted limit. In this way, we protect you from going over your limit so your account isn't suspended. Simply reduce your usage or buy more bandwidth. As your Internet needs change, we'll work with you to get the best out of your server.

If you decide you need to upgrade to a more powerful dedicated server later on, we can do that to! There's no additional upgrade or setup fee. Should you decide to upgrade, Server Room gives you a 7-day overlap to transfer your data from one server to another. In addition, if you would like to resell streaming service, we can setup and install Windows Media Services on the server for you.
